Our core offers a 123% increase in frontal area over stock (BMW Part no 17517617597). As the originators of the stepped core design way back in 2006, Forge Motorsport is best placed within the market to call on our vast expertise in order to deliver a direct fit that would enhance the performance potential of the BMW Group 1.5 Turbo 3 cylinder engine.

Our end tanks are die cast in aluminium for improved internal flow characteristics, developed from 3D printed prototypes that we manufactured in-house at our dedicated R&D facility in Gloucester, UK. The bar and plate core design we have used comes after months of testing different core designs and opting for the core with of internal, external airflow and heat transfer characteristics.

The Forge Motorsport intercooler variant compatible with your model can be ascertained by viewing the stock intercooler through the front grille and counting the number of horizontal cooling tubes. If your model has seven cooling tubes the intercooler (FMINT8) is a match for your model, and FMINTMF56 if your model has eleven cooling tubes.

Delivery is free of charge for all orders £200 (ex VAT) or over. Products are sent by standard DPD service which is usually a next day service, but can take 2 days in transit. We reserve the right to ship smaller, lower value items via Royal Mail or any other service. (Not including Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, and Isle of Man where charges will vary).

Forge Motorsport ships via either UPS, FedEx, DHL (primarily for outside of UK), DPD (primarily for UK), or any other courier we chose. Once a product has left our warehouse and is in the possession of the shipping company, any claims must be made directly with that shipper however we can assist with most cases.

I am having trouble in seeing if i have a 7 bar or 11 bar intercooler. I have as you say looked through the grill but i still cannot work it out, what difference does it make, is it the fitment of the induction pipes. Sorry if i am being a bit thick, maybe someone could contact me .

hello , the amount of tubes denote which intercooler will fit, if you can remove the front bumper to obtain the oem part number from the intercooler and foward that to me i can advise you on which intercooler you will need.

Good evening!, (FMINT8) is it suitable for the mini one f55 102hp (stage2) 2019 (replace part oem 17517617597)?, is the assembly plug and play?, can I reuse the stock sleeves?, will there be other parts to change? I await your replies, thank you

Hello , yes the intercooler replaces the oem intercooler with the part number 17517617597 , the original hoses and couplers can be used and there is no other parts to be changed.
